I write because it makes me smile. I read because it makes me think.

Do What You Love…

…and then share it by teaching

Pasatiempo Fine Arts AcademyI am proudly part of Pasatiempo Fine Arts Academy, 113 Bridge Street, a new art school in Las Vegas, NM. Open house and registration day for classes will be Saturday, May 20, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Academy.

Located in the heart of the Old Town commercial district, the school is ideally situated for inspiration, creativity and networking. Most Academy classes are open to adults, teens and children.

Pasatiempo’s website’s promo graph states:

We have a bright, friendly, safe and welcoming environment where you can take courses in drawing, painting, pastel, plein-air painting, printmaking, poetry, book arts, iphone and ipad drawing aps, public speaking, doll making, image transfer, exploring creativity and your muses, blogging, easy costume-making, embroidery…”

As you can tell, the school has a lot to offer, not the least of which is fun, fun, fun!

You may look over the June schedule here. Most classes are once a week for one-month sessions. Some subjects are taught as workshops. Some are on an individual basis. Registration forms will be available at the Academy’s website soon.
